We stayed there for a few days and we really liked it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was also possible to store our luggage after we already checked out which was really convenient for us. I liked the room, it was just a bit small and there is no escalator. I personally do not mind it but if you are not able to go up a lot of stairs it probably isn’t for you. The location is great, very close to paddington station, a lot of pubs nearby, Hyde Park was just a few blocks away. I really enjoyed staying there.
My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights while on our vacation in October. We expected the slightly cramped accommodations so no issues there. The staff were all very sweet and we appreciated the coffee and tea in the rooms. We loved the location and proximity to the tube as well. We will happily stay here again if we pass through London!
I will be staying here again. Small hotel charm. Personal service. Friendly doesn't begin to explain the staff. Perhaps my best hotel guest experience. A well earned 5*
The hotel was clean. Very well positioned to the center and sights. Good value for money. Customers must understand that being an old building, it was designed that way, with small rooms and bathrooms, and it is not possible to modify the structure of the building. Those who are dissatisfied have enough much more expensive options to choose from :) The staff is very nice and overall I had a positive experience in London!

Read the listing carefully! There is one room with a double bed that has an external toilet which is located in a tiny closet (with insufficient ventilation) on the first stair landing half a flight from the room. While not a deal breaker, it is inconvenient. That room is also quite small with the smallest shower imaginable. There are no outlets close to the bed. No refrigeration or microwave. Hot water kettle in the room with instant coffee and tea are the only amenities. Shampoo and body wash in the shower, no bar soap. On the plus side, the hotel is a 5 min walk from Paddington station which is a transit hub to most of the tube lines. And if you need to do laundry, it's a 9 min walk to Lancaster laundry where you can have breakfast while you do your wash.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are homely and the bed was comfortable. View was great of the park across the road. The bathroom is small but no issue at all. Toilet is in a separate room but not far at all. Toilet is in a small room,but again no issue. Great place for solo female travel in my opinion. Felt very safe. Staff was super nice and helpful. Location is great! Tubes and buses just down the street. The restaurants and shops nearby are great. This place is located in a very good location l. Would stay again.
Chose the Falcon Hotel due to the location and proximity to everything, had 2 nights there, the room had all the amenities that I expected and was very clean and presentable. Staff were very helpful and professional and happy to please. An added bonus was being able to leave my luggage there on check out day, so I could explore more before departing London. Would definitely stay there again if ever in London and will definitely recommend.
